We took a walk through the snow yesterday, and Trixie got onto the scent of something which had left some tracks.

We thought at first it might be a fox print, but after a bit of Googling, it is more likely from a cat.

Hope you are enjoying your Sunday!
This strip is in memory of my little cat, Tabitha, who passed away in October. She loved, loved, loved chicken. In fact, the morning of her last day with us, she managed to walk all the way downstairs to the kitchen to the smell of the chicken we were cooking for her.
Trixie dreams of running The Last Great Race.
Of course, she IS only a very tiny bit Siberian Husky.
She likes to dream big! ;)
So what are your 2013 resolutions?
We had our first snowfall of the year yesterday.
Trixie is blazing the trail.

No comic strip this week, taking some time off from cartooning to enjoy the holidays.
Hope you are enjoying them too!
Thought you might enjoy seeing this photo of Eric, Trix and Santa from 2008. Note her expression :)

Here is a more recent one of Holly, from a few nights ago. She enjoyed the fire on the cold night while I worked on the Christmas comic strip, to be posted tomorrow.

The strip this week is based on our annual tradition of taking our dogs to pick out their own Christmas presents. The first time we took Trixie on this outing in 2008, she was just over a year old, and she seemed a bit overwhelmed with having free reign to pick up anything she wanted. She got over that pretty quickly!
Poor Kitty!
Trix just doesn’t know about all those cat toys out there.
What’s a little ribbing between friends, right?
Trix had a lump removed today, and teeth cleaned while under (2 birds).
When she got home, she was a bit loopy, and craving food, which we really had to dole out in very small amounts. She hadn’t been allowed to eat since yesterday evening.
I think she is trying to say “Please, just a morsel…they had me locked up, drugged and starved today. PLEASE give me some food…”
Vet thinks the lump is nothing serious, btw.
