Seeking Shelter Comic
This is long overdue, but all of you cat lovers should check out Seeking Shelter, which is a comic about “being lost and finding something to make life count, something to give your life meaning and satisfaction. In this case that something is fostering cats”, as described by the creator, Marjorie Skiba. She is over 300 strips in and recently completed a very successful Kickstarter, which funded her first book (soon to be available on amazon.com). I cannot wait to get my copy!
Marjorie was kind enough to include a story about Trixie in a segment of her website entitled ‘Happy Tails’, which contains heart-warming stories about people and their pets.
Whether cat or dog, ya gotta love these wonderful animals and the people whose lives they touch. I recently saw a bumper sticker in the shape of a paw, which said “Who Saved Who?”
Amen.

As much as Trixie loves a good hunt, the thought of another cat is just too much!
Hot chicken soup and cat powers
This strip is in memory of my little cat, Tabitha, who passed away in October. She loved, loved, loved chicken. In fact, the morning of her last day with us, she managed to walk all the way downstairs to the kitchen to the smell of the chicken we were cooking for her.

It’s very touching.
And timely, for our family. We buried my 23 year old cat, Tabitha, last week.
It was her time, but I miss her so very much.
Here she is about a week or so before she died.
She was a spunky thing right up to the end.
Trixie is now in color (sort of)
Some of her surroundings are, at least ;)
I got a new toy for my b-day last week, so trying out some new things with the comic strip.
I’m a bit afraid of going full-blown color, so starting small, very small.
