Fish Cookies (yum)

Here is a recipe for one of Trixie’s favorite snacks – FISH COOKIES!
You’re probably thinking that those 2 words do not even belong in the same sentence, much less right next to each other, but let me tell you, they are delish! (or so Trixie tells me).

Here is what you need:
2 (5oz) cans tuna, drained
2 eggs
oats, uncooked, enough to form a firm mixture

Preheat oven to 375F.
Mix the tuna and eggs until consistently mushy. You can do this with a fork.
Then stir in enough oats to get a firm mixture.
Form into small balls with your hands. The size depends on the size of your dog.
Place the balls onto a cookie sheet or baking stone.
Bake for approximately 8 minutes.
Allow to cool before serving.
Store in refrigerator.
Makes about 3 dozen cookies, depending on the size of the cookie.

These are so good that even Tabitha, the 23 year old cat, loves them.

Enjoy!
