This comic reminds me. There was a family meal with grand parents (ie very old people with lowered immune systems). The pair of us both had the flu and were not going so as not to infect anyone. Hubby’s mum brought leftovers for us and Bear our dog barked and barked. She yelled at him “If you don’ shut up you won’t get any gravy”. Immediately he stopped and patiently waited for his treat.
