Hi Tony! You’ll have to let me know what it is like living with a wee dog – all of mine have been on the larger side. I think if I had a little one, I would end up carrying it with me everywhere like some folks do :)
Being small she gets away with things a bigger dog wouldn’t, like getting on the lounge or bed. Plus she doesn’t cost much to feed & there’s never much doggy doo to clean up around the yard which is a big bonus.
That does sound really convenient. We have a second dog, Holly, who is medium (30lbs). Before we got Trixie, I had a Lab/Great Dane mix. Basically, he looked an extremely tall black lab. He was the sweetest dog ever, but definitely presented some challenges. Wouldn’t have traded him for the world, though. I still think about him every day and miss him greatly. He died of bone cancer in 2007. If you would like to read his story, it is here: http://www.angieanderic.com/mo.htm.
I’m really glad to see so many more “Tales” these days
